Dolpo Festival 2019 To Be Conducted

KATHMANDU, July 18: Dolpo Festival 2019 is going to be conducted from 10th September. The festival is going to be organized with the help of Dolpo Buddha Village Municipality and Vision Dolpa.

The festival will be conducted for 5 days. The festival is going to be organised with the objective of tourism promotion and to help in government’s Visit Nepal 2020 campaign. Member of organizing committee Gyalpo Thapa Bhote said that Dolpo is a great place to attract adventurous tourists and preparations are being done in order to conduct the festival successfully.

The festival is going to be conducted with the slogan of ‘Visit Dolpo, Gain Peace’. Around 16,750,000 rupees is going to be invested to celebrate this festival and more than 400 foreigners and 3,000 Nepalese is estimated to participate in this festival.

The specialties of Dolpo such as Masto Culture, Buddhist Culture, Tripurasundari Temple and other are promoted in this festival. Various cultural performance will be performed during the festival celebration.
