Mountain bike trip in Bhaktapur is a scenic cycling route around the Bhaktapur valley. Bhaktapur (City of Devotees) is the Temple city that showcases the magnificence of Nepal’s art and architecture. Just outside the valley rims lies Himalayan inspection. Nagarkot, a famous hill station near Kathmandu, boasts the best panorama of the central Himalayas. You can see the beautiful broaden of Himalayas: Everest Range, Manaslu Range, Ganesh Himal Range, Langtang, Jugal, and Rolwaling Range.
Splendid mountains, countryside villages and terraced landscape are the views that you will see on your cycling from Changu Narayan Temple to Nagarkot.
Changu Narayan Temple is the oldest temple, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is well known for its work of art woodcarving and stone carving. In spite of its historic and artistic importance, it’s a very quiet temple and draws pretty a few tourists. You can stop by Nagarkot for your lunch and then from here, ride to Bhaktapur which is a good ride back to Kathmandu.
Tour Plan
After early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will drive to Changu Narayan Temple and ready for Cycling from Changu Narayan to Nagarkot. The road passes through the twists and turns of the Changu Narayan village. A short break admiring the flora and fauna along with some refreshments will be a good. After riding another for few kilometers of a steep hill, you reach Telkot and after few hours you reach to Nagarkot, lunch and then from here, ride to Bhaktapur.
