Annapurna Operates Different Ability Friendly Trekking Route

Different ability friendly trekking route has been in operation in Annapurna Rural Municipality-1 of Kaski district. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation- Rabindra Adhikari said that the program was organized in the Capital on Saturday. With the financial support of Nepal Tourism Board and peopl’s voluntary labor, the 1.3 km route was developed.

The trek starts from Bhumeko Thaan to Himalayan Deurali Resort on the wheelchairs and white canes.

According to the Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board – Deepak Raj Joshi, “The introduction of these kinds of trekking route is itself a message to the world that such routes are also possible in the geographically diverse county like Nepal.”
