Cruise Ship To Be Operated In Narayani River

KATHMANDU: Cruise Ship is going to be operated in Narayani River with an investment of 350 million rupees. Rhino Water Entertainment Private Ltd Chitwan has been constructing a ship at Kavreghat aiming to operate by September. 

Boat measuring 100 feet in length and 25 feet is now under construction on the bank of Narayani in Kavreghat inside Gyaneshwor Community Forest of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-16. The ship focused on tourism, goes for three hours in a trip. Breakfast in morning cruise, lunch at day and dinner in the evening are served to the passenger. The travel to begin from Kavreghat reaches Golaghat of Devghat completing 25 km. There would be 200 passengers at a time in the cruise ship having two stories.

Managing Director of the company Ram Chandra Kandel said that his company has an agreement with the community forest for a period of 20 years to operate the boat and port. The operator added that preparation for the cruise was on its last stage and will be launched to coincide with the Visit Nepal Year 2020 announced by the government.

The cruise will operate from Kavreghat to Golaghat in the west direction and Devghat to the north to let the tourists observe the religious areas of Devghat and rare animals in Golaghat.
